For instance, in Maraudon, enemies have a new spell called "Blessing of Theradras" which gives enemies immunity to roots for a brief period, making it much more difficult to execute Maraudon boosting. Many changes to dungeons are taking place, limited the viability and effeciency of a Mage "boosting" other players by means of kiting and mob pathing control. This should be another interesting change, as it will have an impact on some classes more than others, such as Warriors and Rogues. World Buffs such as Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer or Warchief's Blessing do not work in SoM raid instances. World Buffs No Longer Work in Raid Instances in Season of Mastery There are also no limits to the amount of Buffs you can have on at once. Affliction Warlock, Shadow Priest, and many other classes can use all of the spells in their spell book, without having to worry about the debuff limit. In Season of Mastery, this is being lifted completely, making many previously un-viable classes much more interesting. Originally, there was a Debuff limit on bosses set to 16, meaning only 16 different debuffs could be up at one time on an enemy target. Limitations and Nerfs in Season of Masteryīuff and Debuff Limit Removed in Season of Mastery Cenarion Hold and Silithus activities directly associated with Anh’Qiraj will remain unavailable until the Anh’Qiraj War Effort event kicks off later. You will be able to summon elemental Templars and Dukes in the Twilight’s Hammer camps in Silithus to facilitate the completion of the Dungeon Set 2 questlines at the launch of Season of Mastery.Cenarion Hold and Silithus will be available at launch (Phase 1).Silithus/Cenarion Hold Changes in Season of Mastery Max-level herbalists have a slight chance to obtain Black Lotus when looting a high-level herbalism node.Įlemental Fire, Elemental Earth, and Elemental Air will become more available. The (world drop) plans for Titanic Leggings and Sageblade will be made available in a future content phase.Items on vendors and items associated with reputations are not accessible until a later content phase, such as the Zandalar Tribe. Changes and additions made to reputation vendors and item drops in patches 1.6 through 1.11 will be in place at the launch of Season of Mastery, with a few exceptions:.There’s been a reduction in the cost of training riding skills and purchasing level 40 mounts.Riding Costs Reduced in Season of Mastery Meeting Stones can now summon appropriately-leveled party members to the associated dungeon. The Looking for Group tool from Burning Crusade Classic is present in Season of Mastery.Calculations used to determine the experience awarded for enemies that have been “tapped” by one player or group but killed by another player or group were adjusted. The Adventure Awaits buff grants 40% additional experience for characters 1-59 to Dungeon quests and any quests flagged as Group (Elite). These contribute to the "Faster Progression" part of the Reason for the Season, giving you important assistance on your journey to max-level content. Several changes have been made to help speed up character progression and introduce (or re-introduce) some features that are commonplace in later expansions. Quality of Life Improvements in Season of Mastery Some items are not in the same place as they were in the original schedule, such as PvP and Battlegrounds being moved from Phases 3/4 to Phase 1.
